Easy to Use
The full-featured SMART Board interactive whiteboard is incredibly easy to use. If you can use a computer, you can use a SMART Board interactive whiteboard. The touch-sensitive display connects to your computer and digital projector to show your computer image. You can then control computer applications directly from the display, write notes in digital ink and save your work to share later.
No Wiring or Ceiling Mounts Required
Fit the whole system in rooms large or small with a projector that mounts directly above the interactive whiteboard, saving you vital space – no complicated wiring or ceiling mounting is required..
No Special Pens Required
The pens that come with the SMART Board interactive whiteboard are wireless and non-mechanical. The interactive whiteboard will still respond if the pens are lost. You can use any object to write on the board, even your finger.
Easily Integrates Classroom Peripherals
Combining a short-throw projector and an interactive whiteboard, the 680i starts up quickly with a push of a button. You can easily switch between up to four classroom peripherals, such as laptops, DVD players, and digital cameras to maximize your space in the classroom.
Easy to See
High levels of brightness and contrast, plus true color makes video, data and digital images appear clear and crisp from any place in the classroom. Drastically reduce shadows on the interactive whiteboard, and keep light from shining in the presenter's eyes with the short-throw Unifi 55 projector. A large 77" (diagonal measurement) projectable and sensitive area is suitable for lesson for large groups or simple one-on-one interaction.
Solid, Durable Construction
The resilient hard-coated, polyester front sheet is secured over a robust aluminum composite backboard. The surface is tear proof, optimized for projection, compatible with dry-erase markers and easily cleaned. With the incredibly low return merchandize authorization rate (RMA) of less than 0.01%, SMART Board interactive whiteboards may be the toughest interactive whiteboards on the market. All SMART Board interactive whiteboards are rigorously tested, designed and produced under ISO 9001:2001 certification standards.
Theft-proof
Prevent projector theft with a system that can be secured with three locking mechanisms. Attach the projector to the boom with security screws that require a specialized screwdriver to remove them. The projector also includes the proper slots to install a padlock and Kensington cable lock. And because the system is operated via the control panel, the projector would be rendered useless if removed.
